Considering Church Membership
We are believers in Christ. God has left us on earth to accomplish two things; 1) to know Christ in order to become transformed into His image, and 2) to make Him known by demonstrating the Gospel of Christ as it is lived out in our lives. We are the Church. We gather together to build each other up and equip each other to fulfill our mission. We are not consumers, seeking something for ourselves. We are investors, building into one another for the sake of Christ and the Gospel.

Biblical Values of Membership
Membership at CCF means belonging to this group of believers who are on mission, and doing your part to fulfill that mission. Membership means participating with us as a spiritual community and serving Christ in a spiritual ministry in the Siloam Springs area. So we welcome you to worship with us, fellowship with us, grow with us, and serve with us, take root here, and demonstrate the love of Christ in your community.
As members of one another, we work closely with each other to carry out our mission. Listed below are four commitments we as members of CCF choose to make in response to God’s call to be His Church.
1. Confession: I will be salt and light in the world as a faithful witness for Jesus Christ. “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16.
2. Character: I will exemplify a life of holiness in the way I live. “... just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world that we should be holy and without blame, before him in love.” Ephesians 1:4.
3. Contact: I will be committed to and active in the life and ministry of CCF. “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as is the habit of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25.
4. Contribution: I will faithfully support the church with my tithes and service. “But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, nut grudgingly or of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-7

Getting Started
Membership in a church is much like a marriage--both are mutual agreements of support and love for each other. Just as courtship is a means of a man and woman getting to know each other before getting married, we recommend a "courtship" time for us to get to know you better, and visa versa. There are three ways we can get to know each other:
1. Participating in CCF events, especially Worship Services and Wednesdays@CCF. Spending time together in worship, discipleship, and fellowship create personal bonds of unity and nurture.
2. Discover is a three-week orientation course that enables you to learn how CCF works, what we believe, and what we're all about. It's an opportunity to be with others who are also discovering CCF and being able to ask questions about this church.
Discover is held in September/October, January/February, and April/May each year. Please contact Bob Bethke, Community Life Pastor for more information about how you can participate in CCF's spiritual community, and ministry to Siloam Springs and beyond.
